What We Do
Three pillars of transformation
Every programme we run serves one of three groups: orphaned children, young people, and women. Together they break the cycle of poverty for whole families.

Children's Home
We extend a helping hand to orphaned children across Nigeria. Our primary children's home is in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and we also support orphaned children in communities across rural Rivers State.

Youth Development
We provide mentorship and skill-building for Nigerian youths. Our goal is a thriving economy and society, and a generation equipped to avoid social vices.

Women Empowerment
We focus on building women of character and resilience, with the skills and economic power to build thriving families.Our Vision

Our Story
A calling in 2012 became a home for Nigeria's orphans.
In a hotel room in Minneapolis, Minnesota, early 2012, our founder felt a divine leading to use her building and fish farm in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, as an orphanage. It was not in her plan, but after much hesitation, she yielded.On 26 March 2013, the Susan Brown Foundation was commissioned with an office and hostels for orphans at 47 Collins Owhondah Drive, Eagle Island, Port Harcourt.As Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, she reached out to clergy and Community Development Officers who, together with community leaders, identified the children brought to the home.Read our full storyGive
